Click on the link for my manual on school arson. I have dealt with three major school fires in my career. And believe me, there was no manual. The first thing I did ten years ago when confronted with my first school fire was to Google “accounting for school fires” and couldn’t find anything terribly useful. I see more recent references to “accounting for disasters” on the internet, especially in Australia, after recent fires and floods. Some of it is helpful.
I have no stats for how many kids burn down their schools each year. My father told me about a teacher he knew in the 60’s who burned down his school. Now that is teacher burnout.
Here’s the manual. I hope you never need it.
